This collection of artist-made jewelry originals are one-of-kind compositions. Every statement piece is made only once. That is why the artist named her studio "Einmal" (German for "once").

Each piece is a combination of hand-picked beads. Featuring natural stone, real crystals, pearls, authentic trade beads, singular and rare finds, limited edition glasswork, and semi-precious stones is the short list of the handfuls of beads she selects for each piece of her work. You will notice a lot of variety in each piece. That is by design. Each necklace is clearly a labor of love with attention to each bead and every detail.

The necklaces are all designed to slip over your head. Some can be double or even tripled to wear in different configurations. They are purposely made without clasps. The necklaces are all designed and hand-knotted by the artist. The practice of hand-knotting jewelry dates back to ancient times. It is labor intensive, but worth the investment of time and requires a mastery of technique. Hand-knotting creates a more fluid piece of jewelry that lays beautifully against the body when worn. Examples of hand-knotted jewelry have been found in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.
