The glass art cannot be easily damaged! It is the goldfill findings you should keep away from salt water, chlorine, sunscreens, perfumes, lotions with exfoliants, and excessive sweat. The goldfill could wear to a matte and darkened finish over time. If the high shine and bright tone is important to you, please wear with care and wipe your pieces clean with a damp cloth after each wearing.

Goldfill has 100x more gold layering than gold-plate. Goldfill lasts longer, doesn't "wear off", and is difficult to scratch. The artist-made earrings are made with 10kt goldfill over sterling, The pendants and bracelets feature 10kt goldfill over stainless steel. All pieces are nickel-free.
